The Cardano Difference

The Cardano Difference is a short documentary by Solani Creative team on supply chain tracking pilot metadata project by Cardano-Scantrust. Solani Creative founder and Cardano Brand ambassador to the country of Georgia and Caucasus region, Andrew Thornhill, presented ბაიას ღვინო /Baia's Wine to Cardano Foundation as a potential partner for the proof of concept, blockchain backed, track and trace solution. Our creative team visited the village Obcha where Baia’s Wine vineyards and cellars are located to cover the story of the partnership of the future. Our documentary was presented at the opening of Cardano Summit 2021 Tbilisi, Georgia.

Cardano Foundation announced the live release of a unique supply chain traceability and anti-counterfeit solution together with Scantrust in 2021, a connected goods and products platform that provides digitalization for brand protection, supply chain traceability, and consumer engagement to Fortune 500 enterprises and small to medium enterprises in over 168 countries worldwide.

“This is the first ever 3rd party track and trace solution that uses public blockchain for their core data and also the first public project utilizing metadata from Cardano. I am very honored to have been selected to manage this project on behalf of the Cardano Foundation, Baia’s Wine, and the wonderful country of Georgia!” Andrew Thornhill said.
